WD02 - 302 High - Temperature Corrosion Inhibitor
1.Product Description
During the oil refining process, when the temperature exceeds 230℃, sulfur and naphthenic acid cause chemical corrosion. Sulfur reacts with Fe to form an FeS protective film. When naphthenic acid is present in the system, it chemically reacts with iron to form iron naphthenate with surface activity, which dissolves the FeS film and promotes further corrosion by sulfur. The WD02 - 302 high - temperature corrosion inhibitor modifies the metal surface, forming a stable and dense chemical film to prevent sulfur and naphthenic acid from eroding the metal, thus controlling high - temperature sulfur and naphthenic acid corrosion.
2.Applications
Used to inhibit corrosion caused by sulfur and naphthenic acid on the middle - lower part and bottom tray of the fractionation tower in oil refining units.
