1.Product Description  

The WDP series crude oil demulsifiers are synthesized through block polymerization of organic amines (fatty alcohol, polyol, phenolic resin, phenol-amine resin) as initiators with ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. They possess excellent wetting properties, adequate flocculation, and coalescence capabilities, enabling rapid demulsification of the emulsified system to achieve oil-water separation. These demulsifiers apply to oil-water separation in domestic and international crude oil extraction, dehydration and desalting in refineries, as well as sewage purification in wastewater treatment.  

- Water-soluble demulsifier series: WDP-1, WDP-7, WDP-5, WDP-10, WDP-225…  

- Oil-soluble demulsifier series: WDP-4, WDP-11, WDP-14, WDP-25…  

 2.Applications  

Used for crude oil dehydration during oil extraction, dehydration and desalting of crude oil prior to refinery thermal processing, and wastewater treatment.  

 3.Usage and Dosage  

1. Crude oil dehydration efficiency is closely tied to crude oil quality, dehydration process operations, and environmental conditions. Conduct tests and screenings before use to determine the dosage and test plan, and strive to maintain stable oil quality.  

2. The dosage varies with crude oil composition and properties. The recommended dosage is generally 100–120 ppm (0.1–0.12 kg added per ton of crude oil), with the exact amount determined by testing.  

3. Use a metering pump to inject the demulsifier into the crude oil pipeline from the side line as per the metered quantity. Let it mix with the crude oil and enter the settling tank together with the crude oil to ensure uniform mixing.  

 4.Precautions  

Crude oil demulsifiers are highly selective. Laboratory screening is mandatory before use. Do not mix with other demulsifiers without prior screening.  

 5.Packaging and Storage  

1. Packed in 200L plastic or iron drums. Store in a cool, dry place away from fire sources.
